Golf isn’t just a game—it’s a confidence booster, a social connector, and for many of us, a way to balance busy lives with something that’s just for us. But here’s the truth: most women don’t have endless hours to spend on the driving range. Between work, family, and everything else, who has time for that? That’s why we created a 6-week practice plan designed for real women golfers—busy, ambitious, and ready to feel more confident on the course. Instead of chasing long drives all day, this plan focuses on what actually lowers your score and boosts your confidence: your short game, pre-shot routine, and consistency. Whether you’re dusting off the clubs after a break or simply looking to sharpen your skills, this guide is about small wins that stack up—so you can step onto the course feeling prepared and self-assured.

Week 1: Building Your Golf Foundation

Goal for the Week: Master short game basics and create a reliable pre-shot routine that sets the tone for every swing. Putting and chipping save more strokes than anything else—so that’s where we’ll start.

Day 1: Putting & Chipping Basics

  • 3–5–7 Drill: Sink 5 putts each from 3, 5, and 7 feet to build confidence with short putts.
  • Lag Putting: Practice 30-foot putts, aiming to leave the ball inside a 3-foot circle.
  • 10-Yard Chips: Work on clean contact and distance control with different wedges.
  • Bunker Basics: Open your clubface, swing along your body line, and focus on consistent escapes.
    Reflection: Which putt distance challenged you most? How confident did you feel in the bunker?

Day 2: Pre-Shot Routine & Full Swing

  • Visualization Drill: Stand behind the ball, picture the shot, and take two smooth practice swings before stepping in.
  • Full Bag Practice: Hit 5 balls with each club, using your pre-shot routine every time. Focus on rhythm, not power.
    Reflection: Did your routine feel natural? Which club felt the most consistent?

Day 3: Target Practice

  • Iron Precision: Use pitching through 8-iron to hit specific targets at different distances.
  • Lag Putting (Round 2): Keep refining your 30-footers, aiming to leave them inside 3 feet.
  • Around-the-Green Chipping: Chip from rough, fringe, and fairway, aiming for a 3–5 foot landing zone.
    Reflection: Which target was toughest? How many chips finished inside your circle?
